I never knew that until my MIL cooked once after marriage. I loved it the very first time when she made curry with it. I don't know any recipes with raw jackfruit other than this, but love it a lot. The texture is so different and I love it.

- Cut and wash raw jackfruits and boil till soft
- Then boil potato
- Fry prawns slightly
- Smash jackfruit,potato and add to it sliced onion,green chilli,red chilli powder,salt,coriander leaves, half of prawns, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste and mix together very well.
- Make small balls from the mixture
- Sprinkle flour into a plate and put ball into it and fry into oil till golden brown.
- Then pour 2tsp mustard oil into a pan and add sliced onion,chilli,elaichi,dried chilli,jeera seeds,coriander seeds,grater ginger garlic. Fry well. Then grind.
- Then add left oil and ghee into pan and add bay leave,dried red chilli, and grinded masala.
- Then add rest prawns, salt,sugar and pour 1and half cup cups water.
- Let it boil and then add fried raw jackfruits. Then add fresh cream. Then add corriandar leaves and kismis and switch off the flame. Serve with roti or rice
