- Take 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Take 2 tsp coriander powder
- Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Get 1 tsp cumin powder
- Make ready to taste Salt
- Prepare 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
Steps to make Flavorous Fried Jackfruit Curry:
- Boil the jackfruit pieces in salt water and remove extra parts.
- Fry the jackfruit pieces on medium high flame, till golden brown.
- Add oil in a pan and add whole spices, roughly chopped onion, garlic and ginger and fry for at least for 5-10 min. Take them out in a mixer and make fine paste.
- Now add another shift of some oil in the same pan and add cumin seeds and the prepared paste to it. In the meanwhile make paste of tomatoes and green chillies and add this paste too to the pan.
- Keep stirring and cook for another 5-8 min. Add rest of the spices along with salt and cook further for 2-4 min.
- Add curd and fresh cream and keep stirring until the gravy leaves the pan.
- Add fried jackfruit pieces and cook further for 5-10 min until the gravy covers the pieces evenly and they become soft.
- Add chopped coriander and serve with a twig of fresh mint leaves.
