  2. Now in a pan roast only half part of both it's all estimated cumin and mustard seeds and peanuts
  3. You can add ginger and garlic too it's optional I did not add cuz my family don't like
  4. Add it to semolina mixture and add the spices together
  5. Mix well and whip it for 2 to 3 minutes
  6. Rest it for 5 minutes and set a large pan out inside water and set a stand.set bowls if you dont have idli maker and Grease them with oil
  7. When you all set turn the flame very low and add fruit salt.fruit salt is not must.it's only for fluffiness so if you keep long the mixture then you can skip it or alternate it with baking soda
  8. Transfer mixture to the bowls estimatley add cover it for steam after 5 to 10 minutes it will all set
  9. For tadka roast onion and green chilli add ketchup and pinch of salt and pepper.spread it on idli.lets enjoy yummy idli
