The ingredients needed to make Sukhdi(God Papdi):
  1. Prepare 1 cup Wheat flour
  2. Get 3/4 Cup Jaggery (Gud)
  3. Take 3/4 cup Ghee
  4. Get 1 tbsp Chopped almonds
  5. Take 1 tbsp Chopped pistachios
Steps to make Sukhdi(God Papdi):
  1. First prepare the plate or thali to set the sukhdi. Grease the plate (bottom and sides) well using ghee.
  2. Take the ghee in a pan and turn the heat on low medium.
  3. Once ghee is melted and get slightly hot add wheat flour.
  4. Mix with spatula. It will be like the thick lumpy paste.
  5. Roast it with stirring continuously till the flour gets some colour and get toasted aroma of the flour.
  6. As soon as the flour is roasted turn off the flame.
  7. Then add jeggery. It will melt right away. Quickly mix it.
  8. Immediately pour into the prepared plate even out the surface using back of the steel bowl.
  9. Let it cool down slightly. While it is still warm slice into desire shape and size.
