  1. Prepare 1 cup basmati rice soak in water for 1/2 hour
  2. Prepare 10 fried cashews
  3. Make ready 1 onion chopped into slices
  4. Take 1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
  5. Get 5 tablespoon grated coconut
  6. Make ready 2 strings Curry leaves
  7. Get 2 inch cinnamon
  8. Get 2 cloves
  9. Get 2 cardamom
  10. Take 50 ml ghee
  11. Take to taste Salt
  12. Take As needed water

Ghee rice recipe is a fragrant, subtly spiced special rice among the variety rice items of India. Laden with clarified butter, caramelized onions, aromatic spices, nuts and coriander leaves. Instructions to make Ghee rice:
  1. Grate white part of the coconut and grind it with ginger in a mixer jar finely without adding water and keep aside
  2. Take a pressure pan add ghee to it once get heat seasoning it with cinnamon,cloves,cardamom then add onion,curry leaves fry for few minutes (don’t burn it must be in white colour)
  3. Then add grind mixture to it and fry again and then add one and half cup water with required salt and allow to boil
  4. Once water starts boil add soaked rice (drain water),again it starts to boil thenkeep the flame to sim and close the lid put whistle
  5. Allow it in a sim manner for 10 minutes and switch off the stove (no need to wait for whistle because we put whistle to keep the pressure inside)
  6. Once the pressure released garnish it with cashews and serve
